Catch up..
So I have lots of blog catching up to do...It's been 2 weeks! The other night I sat down and wrote this long blog entry and then my dang computer went nuts and I lost the whole entry! So, I'm going to take some time to play catch up.
Here's whats new with the Taylor's...
Mothers Day-
My first Mother's Day was simple, but perfect. It all started on Friday when I received flowers from Blair and Tate at school. For those of you who don't know where my school is its located in Zearing (aka The Middle of Nowhere) and I didn't even know one could send flowers there! I was surprised and it made my day! Things have been a bit hairy at school...
On Sunday we celebrated with Mike and JeanAnn and my parents! We went to church, the guys grilled, and we hung around outside! It was a beautiful day!
School-
Colo-NESCO is going through some budget issues and unfortunately I lost my job. There were numerous pink slips handed out so there are several others in this same position. I pray that God will help everyone find a new, better path. I keep trying to tell myself that there must be something better out there for me, but it's hard. I'm so comfortable at CN and it's been a very nice fit these last four years! So I can officially say I'm on the job hunt!
Tater-
Tate is just awesome! With everything going on I just keep thanking God for this little guy. He just makes us so happy. It's so nice to always have something to look forward to. He'll be four months on Saturday. I'll update after his appointment on Monday. I know he's growing like a weed!!
Playdate-
Yesterday I took a personal day and we went to visit my very, very good friend Beth and her little peanut, June! We had such a great day filled with shopping and lots of catching up.
Alright, time for some pictures!
Outside! Yes!!

Easter Fun!
Tate's first Easter was filled with lots of fun! We got to see a lot of family members and enjoyed lots of festivities!
Friday we headed to Okoboji to see Marc and Amanda. We got to see their nice condo and enjoyed a nice dinner. This was Tate's second time meeting Uncle Marc and Amanda since they just moved back from Arizona for the summer. They have a nice place..with a view of the lake and a pool..we've decided that it will be our vacation spot for the summer! :) We spent the night with them and got up Saturday morning and headed to Emmetsburg.
We spent Saturday vegging out with Grandma and Grandpa Siemers. Tate enjoyed the spoiling. We dyed Easter eggs and did lots of playing! Tate hit a milestone..he rolled over for the first time! Big boy! Saturday night we went to the Easter Vigil at church.
The Easter Bunny came last night and Tate got lots of goodies. Thanks to Grandma and Papa for the books and toys! :) Spoiled baby!
Today we spent the day with lots of family members...Grandpa and Grandma, my aunt Darlis and Uncle Curt, my aunt Donna, and Marc and Amanda.
Tate was such a good boy all weekend!!
Enjoy the pictures~

3 months old/Our great weekend
Tater is three months old! I can't believe it's been three months since the little man has come into our lives. He's growing so fast and changing all the time. He's talking and cooing all the time now. He for sure knows our voices (especially Blair's) and responds with lots of smiles. He sleeps from 10:00 to 6:30..and I have to wake him up in the morning to get ready for the day! He's a good sleeper...at this point anyways!! He loves Doris, his amazing babysitter, we're so thankful for her. :)
Ok, I also have to share about our fantastic weekend. We went to Creston to see Grandma and Grandpa Taylor. We got down there late Saturday morning and went out for lunch with the gang-Ryan, Janelle, and Kayson and Grandma and Papa. After lunch, we went to the fire station to see fire trucks. This was mainly for Kayson, who is currently into trucks and every vehicle known to man. He's a typical two-year-old boy! :) Kayson loved the trucks and Tate slept though the tour, but we still got a photo of the boys. I think Papa Mike is going to need to schedule another fire station visit two years from now for Tate.
For the remainder of the day, we played and ate...played and ate! Grandma and Papa babysat for awhile we went and met up with some friends for awhile.
Today we celebrated Easter. Blair's grandma and grandpa Taylor and his great grandma Ann came over for lunch. Grandma Jean Ann prepared more yummy food and the boys got lots of eggs and Easter goodies. It was a little chilly but we made it outside long enough to gather some eggs.
Tate and ALL his eggs
How many did I get Daddy?

And we ended our weekend by stopping to see the Easter Bunny at the mall
Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Taylor for a great weekend!! Now we get to look forward to another Easter celebration at Grandma and Grandpa Siemers' next weekend!

Weekend Fun!
We had a great weekend! We stayed around home and had LOTS of visitors!
On Saturday Grandma and Grandpa Taylor came and we went out for lunch and then walked around downtown Ames and did some shopping. Grandma and Papa purchased Tate some fun summer gear at the cutest little shop called The Pumpkin Patch.
Saturday evening my aunt Jan and uncle Dennis along with my cousin Heather and her hubby and little girl came to see Tater. We played and visited for awhile! Nice company! :)
This morning Tate and I went to church...we let Daddy stay home and do yard work and clean out my car!
Then Ryan, Janelle, and Kayson came over for a visit! We enjoyed the weather...went to the park and got ice cream!
Ok...I need to share some pictures!
This is the adorable sun hat from G&G Taylor!! Sooo cute!
We are ready for summer! These cool shades and hat are from G&G Siemers! Stylin!
Haha! This is what Mommy does on a Saturday night at home...dress up!

Tate was pooped...fresh air makes a little guy tired!
